FRIDAY NIGHTS
Hook in2 Hockey has three social evenings per season. Games are played on Friday nights and occasionally we are able to give the kids a chance to play on the turf. Starting times will vary. After the games there is a selection of kebabs and sausages from the BBQ as well as a sumptuous spread of salads. Drinks will be available from the bar. While you are enjoying the social atmosphere the kids will be entertained with a variety of movies in the two movie rooms.
CANTEEN
Full canteen facilities will operate on both Saturday mornings and Friday
nights. A roster of parent help will be arranged with parents required
to do one shift of approximately one and a half hours.
Please do not hesitate to select your desired time once the roster has
been posted.
MANAGERS, COACHES AND UMPIRES
ALL TEAMS REQUIRE A COACH, MANAGER AND UMPIRE.
The manager will be responsible for the team equipment and keeping all
team members informed of up and coming events.
Coaches need only limited experience with hockey as they will be provided
with a coaching manual. Their input into the program will be rewarded
with the enthusiasm and rapid progression of their teams.
Umpires are only required fortnightly. Rules at this level are quite basic
and can easily be picked up.
