Melville Junior Indoor Hockey Season 2025 is Coming!
Grab your sticks and lace up those shoes—Melville is bringing the excitement for the Junior Indoor Hockey Season 2025!
Indoor Club Champs Mundaring
Dates: Monday 6 October to Friday 10 October 2025
Note: Competition Fixtures for each age group will be released by HWA closer to the date. Typically each age group will play for only 2-3 days during the championship week (not the full 5 days).
Games: Probable Days (may change depending on number of nominations)
- U18 Monday-Wednesday
- U16 Wednesday-Friday
- U14 Monday-Wednesday
- U12 Thursday-Friday
Venue: Mundaring Arena, 50 Mundaring Weir Rd, Mundaring WA 6073
Kicking off with the Club Championships, where you’ll get to showcase your skills on court. The Club competitions are designed for all ages, delivering an exciting, high-speed, and challenging setting for players of any level. From young beginners, or players honing their abilities, to seasoned pros keeping their edge, these comps deliver the ultimate indoor hockey experience.
Junior Indoor Season
Dates: Week 1 commences Friday 17 Oct 2025, (runs for 8 weeks) finishing Sunday 7 Dec 2025.
Venues:
- Trinity College, 2 Trinity Ave, East Perth WA 6004 and
- Lumen Christi College, 81 Station Street, Martin WA 6110
Games:
- Friday Nights – U14 Boys (Trinity College) and U16 Boys (Lumen Christi College).
- Sunday Mornings – U14 & U16 Girls, and U18 Boys & Girls (Lumen Christi College).
- Weekend Competition – U12, Saturday 29 and Sunday 30 November 2025 (Lumen Christi College). More information to follow from HWA how this format will be played.
- Gryphon Cup Weekend – to be held Saturday 29 and Sunday 30 November 2025. This will be a BYE Round for all age groups competitions except U12. More information will be available from HWA.
Straight after the champs, dive into 8 weeks of action-packed Indoor hockey fun. Fast-paced games, epic goals, and lots of enjoyment for everyone.
Age Eligibility
- U12s: for players born in 2013 & 2014 (or later)
- U14s: for players born in 2011 & 2012 (or later)
- U16s: for players born in 2009 & 2010 (or later)
- U18s: for players born in 2007 & 2008 (or later)
Club Training Sessions, Come & Try Day
Want to sharpen your stick skills or prepare for State trials? Melville is planning training and skills sessions to help you move, position, stickhandle, and score.
When: Sunday 14th September and Sunday 28 September 2025
(Players can attend one or both sessions)
Where: Lumen Christi College, 81 Station Street, Martin WA 6110.
Time: 10am – 12pm
