Summer Hockey Competition Co-ordinator Required

Melville City Hockey Club requires a motivated person to establish and manage the Melville Hockey Club Summer Competition which runs from October to early December before Christmas, and then from late January to early March in the new year.

The role includes the preparation of competitions e.g. 7-a-side, 5-a-side, full-field games and across juniors, seniors and masters for all genders.  The Co-ordinator will also manage communication of information through the club social media platforms which will encourage nominations from teams, then follow-up with email and phone-calls. They will then prepare competition fixtures that typically run four nights of the week.

The selected person can bring as much variety as they wish to the program while ensuring an exciting and engaging experience for all participants.

Remuneration is excellent with a substantial early payment for preparation of the competition and an excellent hourly rate for the management of the evening games.  If needed, the selected person could ‘job share’ and manage others who may run the night competition.
